We will keep a record of certain business and personal information about you – but only when that information is provided by you or is obtained by us with your authorization. We use that information establish your venture in our system. Examples of sources from which we collect information include:

  • interviews and phone calls with you, and
  • letters or e-mails from you.

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

As a general rule, JumpStart does not disclose information about our clients or former clients to other than mentors and staff.

We are the sole owners of the information collected. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via the application, email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.


We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect information it is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.  While we use encryption to protect information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only mentors and staff who need the information are granted access. The computers/servers in which we store information are kept in a secure environment.
